Executive Summary Shein is the largest fast-fashion company in the world. Shein has about 10,000 employees, and their working conditions could be better. There are 35,000 to 100,000 items that are produced daily for Shein, contributing to high carbon emissions and waste. 6.3 million tons of carbon dioxide are released into the atmosphere by Shein clothing production yearly. The Wall Street Journal has reported that there are more than 50 lawsuits against Shein. This paper seeks to explore how Shein is affecting our environment, and how their marketing skills are keeping them in the game.
